My passion for working abroad exist already for a long time. From 1997-2002, I studied International Development Studies at the Wageningen University and Research Center. During my studies I learned a lot bout development work. As part of my studies I have been abroad for research several times. These times made me more determined to find a job overseas. After finishing my studies it wasn't easy to find a suitable job abroad. Also I wasn't sure wheter I would like it to be abroad on my for a long time. Therefore I took some time of and changed my plans. My interest for education had grown during my last research project. Therefore I decided to follow a program which combines study and work (Zij-instroom for the PABO). The study took two years and during these times I worked on a primary school. It was a multicultural school in downtown Rotterdam. It was an enourmous challenge. Since we have been married we considered together to work abroad. We started our jourey and after a time of preparation, prayer, bibleschool, interviews with organisations and training we have made our final choice. We will be working as missionaries for the Liebenzell Mission in Malawi in Africa. Elsewhere on our website you will find mre information. |

am Marieke Bos (Koster before marriage). My birthday is April, 7 (1979).
Since 15 October 2004 I am married with Johannes. In January 2006 our
daugther Nadia is born. I enjoy to make plans and think of ideas and to
be creative. I like to play guitar and to sew clothes for our little
one. And of course I enjoy travelling and to learn more about other
cultures.
