I am Johannes and I would
like to share somethings about my self:
I am born on 20th of August 1972.
Work: I have been
working for a company of gardeners for 6 years. Because I liked to
develop my own creativity I started my own company. I worked as my own
boss for five years, therafter I began to realise that I needed some new
challenges.
Travel: I have been abroad a few times for short trips. The first
time was to Uganda. I have learned a lot about the culture and lifestyle
of the people through the poject and the time afterwards.
Studies: In order to learn whether I would like it to become
missionary I visited a bibleschool, first “de Wittenberg”, thereafter
together with my wife "Cornerstone". We had several subject like:
missiology, evangelism, theology and bible survey. Through my studies my
faith developed and the desire grew to work through and in the church.
Church: I have developed myself a lot through activites within the
church, after I moved to Houten. I stressed the importance of attention
for youthwork and evangelism. I was involved in projects on both of
these issues and I enjoyed it to use the gifts and qualities God gave me
to work in his Kingdom. God is the most important in my life, because I
discovered a new and perfect life after this life. I discovered God
taught me a lot through beautiful and hard circumstances. I appreciate
His care for me.
Wife: I am married with Marieke and I can tell we are really happy
together! |
